Days 8-14 of Elf on the Shelf! What a week...

The Elves really haven't followed the "plans" that were laid out in the "PLAN"  However, the list HAS been extremely helpful in giving them some "ideas" about what they should do each morning...they've just "tweaked" them and developed their own personalities in executing their morning antics & the kids have loved every minute of it!

Let's see what Tangled & Guy have been up to this week...

DAY 8
Remember how the Elves left the kids some "Magical Seeds" to plant   Ave & Bryce were totally blown away when they woke Monday morning to see what had grown...

DAY 9
Th kids had been soooo good over the last 2 days that Tangled and Guy decided they'd be naughty!  They toilet papered our tree...

BAD ELVES!  They set a really bad example...

DAY 10
After the Elves told them how proud Santa and they were of their good behavior, the kids took this as a "free pass" to be little tyrants somewhat bad all day on Day 9.  Therefore, Tangled and Guy were nowhere to be found on Wednesday morning.  

I told them that they were probably in a MAJOR meeting with Santa to discuss their bad behavior yesterday and they had better be good today or else they might not come back!  (Ya, I know...what a meany!)  BUT... It totally worked!!  I had little angels on my hands all day and after their afternoon nap, look what the Tangled & Guy did...

They each got a flashing Santa pin to go with their...

...Backyard Winter Wonderland!!

DAY 11
Apparently the Elves felt that mommy doesn't do enough baking with the kids so, they set up on the counter and left some cool aprons for the kids and some treats to bake in the fridge!

Tangled & Guy know this mommy very well!!  Prepared cookies...thank you!

DAY 12
It was Christmas with Ave & Bryce's friends this morning so, the elves made a REALLY NEAT felt Christmas Tree (apparently I'm not the only one who frequents pinterest) for all of them to decorate and undecorate all day.  Thanks Tangled & Guy...

DAY 13

SURPRISE!  Tangled and Guy decided to "hang out" in the kids stockings on Saturday morning and brought them a little stocking stuffer surprise to boot...WoW!

DAY 14

OMGosh!!!  The elves brought a special visitor into the house from their outside winter wonderland for our Little Christmas Lunch with friends this morning.  What a special surprise for a VERY special afternoon...
