Birthdays have always been a big deal around here...at least for me, read I like all the attention to be on MOI...LOL! I have never, I repeat, NEVER felt "my age" (I'll be 38 years old tomorrow but I feel like I am about 25 or so). I suppose that's a good thing but there is no denying that I am, in fact, aging (gracefully, or at least I'd like to think...LOL!) when I look in the mirror. Those little fine lines are starting to develop around my eyes and mouth and not just when I smile either. A wrinkle or two as crept in and settled here and there and the frown lines on my forehead would make you think I'm either a mean person or a worrywart. I am neither. Point being, I have decided to give myself the present of taking better care of "ME" this year. Two ways in which I plan to do this are:
1. Getting healthy (stay tuned for future posts on this one...it's a BIGGIE!)
2. Taking care of my skin, read slow down the aging process. Au Natural, of course.
So, when I was contacted by a representative at Sibu Beauty to review their Sea Buckthorn Daytime Facial Cream I
The first time I squirted a dollop of cream on my hand I was lovin' the faint but distinct smell of the Sea Buckthorn Berry and then when I applied it to my face I was amazed at how quickly it was absorbed into my skin. For a moment, I was certain I hadn't put enough on but the smoothness I felt told me otherwise. After a few applications I noticed that the cream didn't disappear as quickly which indicated that my skin wasn't as dry as it was just a few days earlier. Can you say FA-bulous?!?! That being said, it does get absorbed and it leaves no greasy aftermath (which I hate), I can apply my make-up almost immediately after application, something I can't say about the product I have been using for YEARS!
I think I'm hooked....I'm "jumping ship"! *GASP* I am looking forward to seeing what "repairs" it may help with and the "protection" it may provide over long time usage. I'll keep ya posted!
I strongly encourage you to go check their website out...you won't be disappointed!
